Sift helps teams run AI-assisted interviews and research conversations. In doing so, we may collect information about workspace owners, team members, participants, and usage of the product.
1. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information, such as your name, email address, workspace details, and login credentials or verification data.
- Interview and survey content, including prompts, questions, responses, transcripts, uploaded media, generated summaries, and related metadata.
- Participant information, such as names, email addresses, or other information submitted through interviews or follow-up forms.
- Technical and usage information, including IP address, browser type, device information, referral information, pages viewed, and product interaction data.
- Support and communications information, such as messages you send to us, feedback submissions, and correspondence.
2. How we use information
We use information we collect to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and improve Sift;
- create and manage accounts, workspaces, and interview flows;
- generate AI-assisted questions, summaries, and analysis;
- communicate with you about the service, support, updates, and security;

- comply with legal obligations and protect our rights and users.
3. How we share information
We may share information:
- with service providers and infrastructure partners that help us host, process, analyze, secure, and support Sift;
- with integrations or webhook destinations you configure or authorize inside the product;

- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business.
We do not sell personal information for money.

- manage interview content and participant data within your workspace;
- disable optional communications or stop using the service;

7. International processing
Sift may process and store information in countries other than the one where you live. By using the service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in other jurisdictions, subject to appropriate safeguards where required.
8. Children’s privacy
Sift is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the service or by other appropriate means. The updated version will become effective when posted.
